Hyderabad Zoo Also known
as the Nehru Zoological Park, zoo was established in 1959 and
declared open to the public in 1963. The park extends over 380 acres and
is a premier recreation spot in the twin cities of Hyderabad and
Secunderabad. The Forest Department of the Government of Andhra Pradesh
manages the zoo and provides grants for it. We are at the forefront in
India of building modern enclosures for the display of animals, such as
the extensive safari parks and the habitat for nocturnal animals.
B.M. Birla Planetarium was the first phase of the Science Centre. It
was inaugurated in 1985. Not only it is one of the best attended
Planetaria in the world, it has also been acclaimed to be amongst the
very best with a better rating than those in Europe, USA, Far East,
Soviet Republics and elsewhere. The cosmic presentations here have
highlighted various mysterious of the Universe as they have
unfolded—from Halley’s comet through space explorations of the solar system to the riddles of Black Holes and
the newly discovered dark energy. This apart, special interactive
sessions for students are organized.The Planetarium also conducts a popular course on Astronomy and
Astrophysics. The Planetarium also regularly creates exhibitions on
relevant topics.

AP State Archeology Museum or Hyderabad Museum is a museum located in Hyderabad, India.
Archeologist Henry Cousens first explored the site in the beginning of
the 19th century, and around 1940 the mound was excavated under the
supervision of Nizam of Hyderabad.
The excavated items were place in a museum built on the ancient site.
In 1952, the museum's contents were moved to the current build, under
the administrative control of Archaeological Survey of India.
Public Garden or Bagh-e-Aam,is a historic park located at
Nampally,Hyderabad.This park contains the State Legislative Assembly,
Andhra Pradesh State Museum,
Contemporary Art Museum, etc.The parks have many picnic areas. The park has too many things to enjoy in one visit.
